Hishop August Beauty Box Review Part 2~ "Scrape & Treat"

Hey guys!  Happy Belated Malaysia Day! :D

Sponsored Review
Once again I'm gonna talk about product that Hishop has sent to me through their August Beauty Ambassador's Beauty Box! :D

Having those disgusting heads on your nose?   Fret not!  Your saviour is here!  Tadaa!  Introducing the
#1 Skinmiso Nose Pack Trial Kit view it HERE
continue reading to see how this impressively wondrous product works...
Basically there's three steps to follow in order to scrape off those maggots like thingy from your nose with this product!  For a better outlook on how it works like you may view the diagrams below:

By following the steps I applied the first layer of mask after cleansing and toning my face with my newly won Biotherm product :D  < will blog about that some other day!
After 10 minutes of applying the mask.  Just look at those disgusting protruding white heads...I know that's pretty disguise but for some reasons I like to see as whenever you see this it will definitely made the exfoliating process much more easier and less painful.
Since I've already mentioned exfoliate, you guys should know what should be done next right?  If not...you'll have to remove the impurities with a cotton swab or the black/white heads removing tool to scrape it off!
Gently wash off the excess impurities with water and move on to applying the second layer of mask for another 10 minutes & you're done!  Bet that you are gonna have a smooth dermis layer on your nose after using this!

Rating : 5/5
definitely works better than those products I've reviewed about here  as it did a great job in eliminating heads without peeling off your skin!

ps. already shown you guys my super shitty complexion around my T-zone area, so now get ready for the bare face which means...zzz...the overall skin condition as I'm gonna show you the results of the
#2  Beauty Clinic Mediheal Overlab Yellow Pumpkin Powder Mask view it HERE

Dark circles, zits, pimples etc. impurities it's like I have it all T.T

Camwhore when mask is on is a must! :D

Here you go with the results
What I like ~ the scent (pumpkin scent, can I EAT??? :P)
~ the uniqueness where you'll have to squeeze to serum over to the mask sheet
~ made my complexion appeared brighter
~ slightly firm SLIGHTLY only har!

What I dislike ~ actually nothing but I don't think this is the perfect mask for my skin type (oily combination skin) still prefer my bias hehe...spoiled ><  (click HERE to view which is my favourite mask) but I guess it's gonna work perfectly for those who's in need of moisturizing properties!

Overall Rating : 2.5/5

Sem One Break Free Day Trip ~ Part 2 (Foodporn)

Welcome back!   Shoo away the Monday blues, keep calm and read my posting which is a continuation from the previous post, have you read that?  If you have not, kindly read it here as I've jotted down some where to go places if you are in Penang!

WARNING!!!

This post is gonna be focusing on food, food, food & MORE FOOD :P  Can't help cause I'm blessed to have a bunch of foodie sweeties ^_^ & you don't expect us to leave our stomach empty for the entire day right?  Walking from streets to streets is very energy consuming you know?

#1 Chew Jetty
Mango Fried Ice
I know I will sound like a frog under the well if I say this but seriously this is my first time eating fried ice!  I always wondered how do they fry the ice when ice always starts melting at room temperature and it is not something like fried ice cream which has an outer skin which somewhat similar to bread texture to enclose the ice cream at the inner, but fried ice...so HOW?  Finally with my own ice I observed how it was done and it was pretty simple the preparation was just like pan frying lol! garlic??  Excuse my poor interpretation as I am not a chef so...haha...skip this part and I'll tell you something more important which is the TASTE! :P    My verdict for this is *thumbs up*, the texture of the ice is finer than what we used feel from our local popular delicacy aka the "Ice Kacang" but then there are less toppings as they only sprinkle some peanuts, dried nutmeg shreds and sweet corn whereas the typical ice kacang usually has toppings such as red beans, sweet corn, atapci(palm seed), peanuts, cubed grass jelly, shredded dried nutmeg etc.(may vary) on the shaved ice drizzled over with evaporated milk, red rose syrup or sarsi syrup or both over the mountain of ice.  Another thing is you may add on ice cream of your desire flavour which like I always do!

#2 ChinaHouse (click here to be directed to their website)
All nuts pie/cake (ps. forget the name)
Eating this is like eating the "Sak Ke Mah" of the Western version where all sorts of nuts (pine nuts, cashew nuts, walnuts are fuse together but the harden caramelize thingy)  If you ask me to rate this I would say it's too cloying and never ever eat this alone as you'll take forever to finish the whole thing esp. if you are small eater.  Fyi, five of us did not manage to finish this piece no matter how hard we tried and the reason is not to say it taste not nice but just could not finish!

In case you are not sure how a "Sak Ke Mah" looks like :P
credits to online source
Tiramisu Cake
Loving the creamy texture part as well as the peanuts, all of us  kept on eating that part instead of eating it together with the other layers :P   Ain't too cloying and moderate sweetness if it's being shared I guess...

Walnut Espresso
Actually I wanted to order this badly as this is the first thing that catches my eye but then we don't want to order two cakes that contains alcohol(guess they are afraid that the driver might get drunk or what, lol!) so we just had Tiramisu which also contains alcohol and that nutty slice.

#3 Marshall's Burger

Bacon Special Chicken Thigh Burger

Perfectly marinated patties!  The chicken thighs are sooooo succulent with slices of bacons, the crunch of the fresh onions and lettuces being sandwiched in between the burger bun = definitely a heavenly BITE if you don't count the calories!  :)  After trying their burgers I finally get it why this outlet is being highly rated in Foursquare!  Yes!  I started using Foursquare mainly to get to know more nice places to hunt for food loool :P

124-C, Burma Road, 10350 Georgetown, Penang ‎

#4 Vintage Bulgaria
Cafe Latte

Sea Breeze (Sprite & Blue Curacao)

Soup of the day ~ Leek...
All of us were super dissatisfied with this!  We paid RM7 for this somewhat like chicken stalk sprinkled with spring onions stuff???  Was expecting something creamy but wth knew that the soup of the day turned out to be this way >_<

Orley Wraps
A traditionally Bulgarian dish consisting of cheese wrapped in bacon, skewered and grilled to perfection ~ Vintage Bulgaria
Saw someone on Foursquare stated that this is a must try appetizer as it tastes superb so despite the kinda pricey pricing we ordered!  After trying it, I would say one man's meat is another's poison.  Another disappointed dish as it does not have a significant bacon taste but instead all of us find it way too SALTY!   Bacon hardly gone wrong like this way before :(

Baked Cheese Pasta
Finally saw the ray of hope after tasting this!  The sauce was well flavoured(not too sweet nor sour) with a hint herbs and springy baked mozzarella cheese mm...absolutely a nice concoction! :)

Chicken Stroganoff
Nice but the portion is definitely not enough for sharing lol!  Btw, mashed potato is yummy!

Herbed-Poached Salmon Fillet
If you are a person who loves fish yet dislike the fishy smell (I know this is a somewhat irony statement but I'm assure that there's somebody out there are this way! :P), this is something you could order as the salmon fillet is absolutely fresh thus no fishy smell.  Actually this is something like the IKEA food court's salmon but just with a more expensive pricing! :P

Creme Brule (Vanilla)
Upon breaking through the brittle caramelized layer, the rich and creamy custard with superb aromatic egg and slight hint of vanilla is definitely a dessert to tickle your taste buds and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time.  MUST TRY! :)

1E, Jalan Sungai Kelian, 11200, Tanjong Bungah, Pulau Pinang

Hishop August Beauty Box Review Part 1 ~ "Hues & Swatches"

Sponsored Review

Happy Huedays beautiful people! :)

Without further ado, I'm gonna review some products I've got from the Hishop's August Ambassador Special aka the return of their Beauty Box.  Feeling lucky and I was jumping for joy when I received an email from them notifying me that I've been selected to review for their filled with makeup goodies box.  Shout out to Ms. Mabel Yan!  Whether you are reading this or not I just wanna say thanks for giving an infamous yet passionate blogger this opportunity! ^_^

Sneak peak of the "August Beauty Box"

This post is all about colours and shades in this beauty box.   So stay with me till the end of this posting okay?  For once, I have something for you readers ;)   Featuring two of my personal favourite products which are from Jelly Pong Pong!!!

From left Jelly Pong Pong's Super Model Stain & Jelly Pong Pong's Lip Cushion

Sometimes I wonder is it only me or what, when it comes to lips, treatments is what I prioritize over colours as chapped lips with dry skin peeling off looks kinda sickening.  Therefore, allow me to talk about the Lip Cushion first before moving to the other product, okay?  Ps you have no choice but to agree with that :P

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Cushion Lip Balm (Cerise)
for more details, view it here

In my opinion, this is definitely an awesome twosome product!  Besides providing a sheer colour it also treats your lips.  Swiping this cushion-soft and somewhat jelly look product on your lips generally gives you that feeling of applying lip balm that treats and lip gloss that gives you that plump effect but what I absolutely love about this product are the fruity scent and it is not too sticky yet moisturizing.  Amazing right?  Seriously if you are looking for a trustee lip product among all those lip products I've used before this one is something that offers something like a 2in1 deal thus, THE BEST product as of now that I would suggest to you guys!

What I like : scent, sheer colour, packaging, affordable pricing, not sticky, moisturizing, 2 in 1 (treat & primp)
What I dislike : Speaking frankly NOTHING

Overall rating : 5/5

Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain Lip Gloss & Cheek Blusher (Cupcake Pout)
for more details, view it here

What I love about this product is this packaging which comes with an attached mirror, thus making it ultimately compact and could be easily taken on the go.  Besides that, omg!  Idk why but I'm seriously liking that buttery and slightly chocolaty scent (idk if those two ingredients are use to form this product or not but my nose somehow roger to my brain that kind of scent).  The colour of this creamy lip product is so pigmented that with only one swipe you could already get that perfectly stained lips without surfacing any chapped lips.  Oh!  Another thing is you could also used this as a cheek stain or if you have lighter skin colour you may also use it as a bronzer which will definitely have longer lasting effect rather using the normal powder ones.  However, if you have oily skin or acne prone skin I don't really encourage you to do so due to it's absolute moisturizing properties.

What I like : scent, classy packaging, moisturizing(cream based), pigmented, 2 in 1 usage (lip & cheek)
What I dislike : colour and price :P

Overall rating : 4/5

I hope my review about this two products could help you and if you do have any questions regarding any of these products do feel free to drop me a comment and I'll reply you asap. ;) The effects of the products definitely looks better than my somewhat poor quality pictures(apologizing for that) :( and all opinions are still based of my personal preferences despite being sponsored, results may vary on each and every of you out there but then I'm 100% truthful in making my stances. :)

Unpleasant looking lips before using any lip products (not the worst yet) :(

Semester One Break Free Day Trip ~ Part 1 (Posers with Heritage Site Murals)

*cage door opened*

HELLO!!! ^_^  It's like finally I'm done with the tormenting finals!  *pops confetti*  Actually it has been few days since I was freed but gosh!  I've been busy running errands throughout the week from settling my personal documentation stuffs as well as being an on call driver > <  and till now I don't think I have the chance to laze around yet, how sad is that :(  Anyway, I felt kinda guilty to say this but I'm really sorry to say that BUT I think I'm somewhat like the type of person as below :P
I love and always enjoy learning new things and reading is quite a fun thing for me but then I honestly and seriously hate examinations (ask me why?  I can give you 999999 of reasons lol! fine...I'm slightly exaggerating but reason number #1 it made me RESTLESS thus draining my brain power)  but guess that's just unavoidable plus this is only semester one of year one which means I still have another 5 more finals to deal with before I could surpass Diploma....still a loooooooooooooooong way to go >_< Whatever it is I just hope I will like the results when they are release *fingerscross* but again I'm hoping for the best(pretty ambitious this time, pls don't let me down!) and preparing for the worst as always!

Topic of the day is yeah!  'The day trip around Penang Island' which have been planned beforehand and being much anticipated by my bunch of *hong so kakis* (outgoing people) in Hokkien.  As no one else could really drive nor have a car, it's like for once I've volunteered to be the driver of the day which is an ultimately rare thing as I really dislike driving esp. when there are lots of motorcycles, 'butter & jam' I mean that freaking traffic jam & worst of all fighting for a place to park!!!  zzz...Oh!  One more thing I have a total "wondrous navigation skill", lucky thing Yongshin was clever enough to download the GPS app and our whole journey was sorta depending on it lol!  & if you ever wonder...fyi, I'm a Penangite & so as Yongshin!  Good joke right? :P

Peeps!  Let's just skip the wordy part and start the journey along the heritage pathway in a pea size island namely Pearl of the Orient aka Penang (lol!  fine...I'm just a typical long winded human).  So don't worry from this point onward you don't have to strain your beautiful eyes to read so much as I'll be allowing the pictures to takeover the story telling ^_^

First station was the painting with a pervert little boy who's standing on a chair and trying to peek into the bathroom.  Naughty kid!

This Lion painting somehow makes me feel like it's Chinese New Year again

Look at the cat's eyes, it was going like 'oh man!  camwhorers zzz....I better look up the sky"

*Meow*

I have two versions for minions caption as Take 1, they all commented that "yo why you pose till so barbaric type one??" so I decided to snap another side of me Take 2 aka cute or at least acting cute like a little girl ^_^
LOL!  Whatever I pose...minions expressions are just so priceless with their wtf faces...

After walking from one street to another, we also strolled down to the stretch of living heritage where I suppose it's like a fishing village since it has many motor boats.  Felt so lucky to still have the chance to walk down this sort of wooden pathway which planks are supported by stilts as nowadays apart from skyscrapers we could hardly get to see this sort of villages anymore in our mini island as it steps onto the transitional development.  If any of you were to have a trip to Penang, no matter how hot the blazing sun is, this fascinating site aka Chew Jetty is a must visit itinerary as we don't know how long will this place last in this ever changing world.  Therefore, spare some time to escape from the hustling bustling city temporarily by strolling around this nostalgic of this good old serene days.

Pictured by me :)  As at first I was too afraid to sit in that kind of position like what my four beautiful ladies did even they tried convincing me that I won't be falling off the plank but I was still so reluctant because till today I'm still sorta traumatized by water :(   So I offered to snap pictures for them instead and I also accidentally recorded an Insta Video with Yee Shuen's Ipad Mini due to lol!  I'm really not an Apple person so I'm not really well verse on what should I click on to navigate to its respective functions.

Cannot stand them already, so I was like hey!  I also wanna have a picture with them at this scene. Obviously, the way I placed my legs was already good enough to show you how was I cowardice by the water T.T

I think they are so gonna kill me if they see me posting this *epic fail* jumping picture but if you guys(ladies in the pic) were to see this hehehe....forgive me kay? :P I'm really liking this sorta candid shot!!!  Like seriously due to Wen Shie's priceless bunny expression with a joey jumping motion, Yee Shuen's lol!  constipation pose, my 'chok' in Hokkien which literally means cool according to them & Estina's happy-go-lucky little kid pose how could I not love this particular picture captured by our sweetie Yongshin???

You wanna fight???  C'mon! :P 放马过来啦!JK
Btw, really thanks to the uncle who's working in the store telling  us that there is another minion behind the door and then close the door just for us to snap pictures.  I don't think he will be reading my blog lol! as wth am I?  but then really THANK YOU!!! ^_^

Another crazy shot!
Basically, it's like a battlefield where Estina & I are the contestants while Yongshin & Wen Shie are the spectators.  I think Yongshin placed her bat on me, that's why she was so happy after I defeated Estina! lol!  I know this is pretty lame but who cares?  WE ENJOYED & probably overjoyed on that day! ^_^

Personally thinks that I look like I'm a part of the mural.  Do you think so? or it's just me having hallucination?  I WANNA GROW TALLER!!! *rawrs* but I don't think I can still grow :( to my ideal height so hopefully my enthusiasm could lead me to achieve whatever I'm endeavoring as I step into my adulthood.

Our attempt to make a NO SMOKING AWARENESS!
Sometimes I really wonder why would people pay to harm their own body???  Kindly tell me why if you are a smoker as I'm pretty curious why would people willingly throw their $ which could be used for better things instead throwing them into the sea which will eventually kill them? Seriously *no offence*!
Nagore Road

Looks so realistic right? :P  Like model on set...ps. SS for a moment but I'm loving this shot by the pro Yee Shuen for getting such a perfect angle ^_^

Anyway though all of us just met for not long but as days pass our friendship tend to become closer as we are spending most of our time together in college.  Hopefully no matter what happen we could maintain this sort of bond and continue to work well with each other and of course enjoy our time to the fullest before graduating.  Tolerant is the key to secure it I guess lol!  since all of us have different *siao siao* which literally means mad or chaotic characters esp. when we play hard after working hard :P

This is not all about our trip yet  have you guys notice anything that is missing?    It's FOOD!!!  How could we survive with not eating for the whole day?  Don't tell me you didn't notice that foodie have not blog any on what we ate on that day!!!  *ANGRY FACE*   Fyi, we actually checked in to seven places on that day including all the heritage sites.  Will blog about it asap and ps. for creating suspense but I wanna make the best post I could and I'm in need of getting some rest right now as I'll be starting my job tomorrow!  *excited*

At the mean time excuse me for going mia.  Ending this post with an
